Moving After Baby | Early Recovery

You had the baby. Now what?

You spent nine months adapting to pregnancy. Having the baby doesn’t mean your body instantly returns to where it was before.

This isn’t a postpartum workout class. It’s a 4-week, baby-friendly small group coaching experience designed to help you understand your postpartum body, reconnect with your core and pelvic floor, and rebuild the foundation you need for what comes next.

Babies are welcome. No childcare needed.

Founding Cohort Pricing:

Cleared doesn't mean recovered.

You spent nine months adapting to pregnancy. Having the baby doesn’t instantly undo those changes.

Your body is still recovering from:

  • A stretched and healing abdominal wall

  • Changes to your pelvic floor

  • Changes in your rib cage and pelvis

  • Muscles working from different length-tension relationships

  • A new way of managing pressure and creating support

And then, around six weeks, you’re told: “You’re cleared to exercise.”

But now what?

  • Where do you start?

  • How do you know what your body is ready for?

  • What symptoms should you pay attention to?

  • When are you ready for more?

Being cleared is not the same as being recovered.

Early Recovery teaches you how to understand where your body is now—and how to build from there.

What Makes This Different?

This isn’t about getting your body “back.”

It’s about understanding the body you’re in now and giving it what it needs to recover and rebuild.

Every session combines education with hands-on movement, so you’ll learn:

  • How your core and pelvic floor work together postpartum

  • How to reconnect breathing with movement

  • How to manage pressure as you begin adding load

  • How to recognize when your body is ready to progress

  • How to build a foundation for returning to the activities you love

What you do in early recovery sets the foundation for what comes next. Rebuild now so your body is prepared for the demands of exercise later.

Who This Is For:

This program is for you if…

  • You’ve recently had a baby and want guidance on what to do before jumping back into exercise.

  • You want to understand how pregnancy and birth changed your core, pelvic floor, breathing, and movement.

  • You’re not sure what “normal” postpartum recovery should feel like or what symptoms to pay attention to.

  • You want to reconnect with your body and begin rebuilding strength in a progressive way.

  • You want to build your foundation now so you’re better prepared for strength training, running, classes, or whatever you want to return to later.

  • You want individualized coaching and feedback in a small-group setting.

  • You want to bring your baby with you instead of having to arrange childcare.

Please note: This program is educational and movement-based and is not a substitute for pelvic floor physical therapy or medical care. If you’re experiencing pain or have concerns about your postpartum recovery, please consult your healthcare provider.

FAQs

Who is this program for?

This program is designed for active women with low-risk pregnancies who want to continue exercising with confidence. Whether you enjoy strength training, running, CrossFit, group fitness, Pilates, or simply staying active, you'll learn how to adapt movement as your body changes.

1

How many women are in each cohort?

2

Groups are intentionally limited to 6 women to provide individualized coaching, movement feedback, and plenty of time for questions.

No. This is a small group coaching experience that combines education with movement. You'll learn how pregnancy changes your body, why certain symptoms occur, and how to confidently adapt exercises to meet your body's needs.

3

Is this a workout class?

What stage of pregnancy is this for?

4

This program is designed for women with low-risk pregnancies. Because each participant receives individualized coaching, exercises and modifications can be adapted to your stage of pregnancy.

Can I participate if I am trying toconceive?

5

Absolutely. Many of the concepts you'll learn, breathing, pressure management, core and pelvic floor function, movement mechanics, and exercise modifications, are valuable before pregnancy as well. Understanding these principles before becoming pregnant can help you feel more prepared and confident as your body changes.

Why is this four weeks instead of a single workshop?

6

Because learning how to move well during pregnancy takes practice. Each week builds on the previous one, giving you time to understand new concepts, apply them to your workouts, ask questions, and gain confidence as your pregnancy progresses.

I've already completed your Prenatal Series. Should I still join?

7

Absolutely. While some of the movement concepts overlap, the experience is completely different.

The Prenatal Exercise Series is a six-week educational program you complete on your own. Moving Through Pregnancy gives you the opportunity to apply those concepts in person with individualized coaching, real-time feedback, hands-on cueing, and exercise modifications specific to your body and stage of pregnancy.

Think of it as the difference between learning the material and having a coach guide you through it.

Your postpartum recovery begins in pregnancy.

The movement strategies you build now don’t end when pregnancy does. They create a foundation you can carry into birth, early recovery, and your eventual return to training.
